The UptownDownbeats is a not-for-profit music group in the Boston - North area.  Our music is tailored to fit the audience's interests.   We perform indoor and outdoor shows, depending on weather and the needs of the facility.  We frequently have audiences singing along and get many out of their seats dancing.

Our goal is to bring music to senior facilities and community events. Music has the power to impact people’s emotional and physical well-being by enhancing mood, memory, and coordination. Our mission is to bring these benefits, and more, to our audiences. 

We perform songs from the 1930s to the 1980s, connecting our audiences with music they remember fondly, and new songs for them to enjoy. 

 We perform in assisted living facilities and senior centers.  We also perform holiday-focused music for special events.   

Additionally, we are available for entertaining in farmers' markets, restaurants, and other settings for audiences to enjoy the popular music we perform.
